E Field

Here is my observatory for the 100mm apo and guide. Next to the existing observatory I am in the process of building a new observatory to house a 12 inch telescope.

On the back of the observatories there will be some concrete areas with power supplies for people to set up their own telescopes

- ASTSC 3. This camera is manufactured and supplied by Astronomiser in the UK. This is a fantastic camera for the price. I do not think there is anything in the market to touch it. The after-sale service is excellent for everything electronic under the sun. The owner is very approachable and knowledgeable.

B ART285

- The other camera I use is the ART 285. It is manufactured by Artemis in the UK and it is also a fabulous camera. The chip is larger than the ASTCS3 and it is peltier cooled. The after-sale service is fantastic should you ever need it. The owner also is very approachable and helpful.

- The other camera I also use is a Canon 300D unmodified. This gives me an extremely large field of view for some of the larger deep sky object. In its present setup the 300d is not sensitive to the red and will need to be modified in order to capture object like the California nebula.
