I don't have a gite myself but a friend of mine is running a gite some 5 miles from where I live and the location of the premises is lost in the country side with absolutely no light.

Power will be supplied outside for telescope, computers and any other bit of kit needed.

The cost for the gite sleeping 6 is between 230 euros per week and 300 euros during July and August. Tents and caravans can also be sited there for a small fee.

Full board including beer and wine is £25 per day per person. Breakfast, lunch time meal and dinner. Drink and coffee are also provided for during the day and the night.
